Very dissapointed with this company.
Very dissapointed with this company. They seemed very quick to “push” 4 sales candidates my way. Tori was on the phone a few times a day pushing us to increase our base salary to get better sales people. Long story short the sales person came for two weeks, then went on holiday for two weeks came back for one day, then gave a weeks notice. I told Tori via email and she said she would come back to me. She did not. I chased her again and promissed to come back to me. Again nothing. She finally phoned after 6pm which i found strange. She said i am liable to pay £8k fees. I have asked to speak with her manager. Lets see. I would certainly avoid this company. They are only after sales commission. The sales person they sent us Sold Nothing, and created No contacts. It does make me feel like i have been set up.

Lack of responce.
I have tried to contact this company about various positions but never get a single response. Dreadful

Who would give this company their opportunities to fill? I’ve responded to a couple of interesting opportunities posted with Michael Page and heard absolutely nothing from them. Not a peep. And yet, I still receive searching emails from them promoting jobs, asking if I’ve heard back from anyone etc. surely they should know if they had bothered to follow up? Any company that gives this company their opportunities to fill are risking their own reputation. I would not entrust them with my recruitment based on recent experiences.

I'm not actually looking for a job.
I'm not actually looking for a job. I'm in Irealnd, I investigate online scammers and sell the story once verified. This week I got constant pms from this company offering me 120 to 200 e a day. The profile of the re runner is blocked. She dis not answer any detailed questions. I believe its probably to sell my details to a third party, please be careful, especially in fact older people looking g for element who are less likely to be vigilant woth their private data So use good companies such as INDEED, who are upfront and easy to use, best of luck.

Back office is a joke and will affect your placement
It’s a shame my recruiter was really nice and professional but the back office staff that run the payroll are absolutely rubbish. I had several issues with them and upon finishing my contract they took over a month to generate and give me my P45 which impacted my tax calculation for my next employment. They have also most recently updated incorrect information to HMRC stating I have worked there for a further year up to early this year when I only worked with them for a few months at the beginning of last year. HMRC are now saying I owe money in tax due to this mistake and I have attempted to contact payroll and have been told by Kalem in Temp Services that they do not allow direct contact to Payroll. Instead he provides no assistance and continues to request that I provide my most recent P45 from another employment that has nothing to do with this one. You tell me what my most recent work history has to do with them fixing what they incorrectly updated!?

Dealt with Rebecca booth
Dealt with Rebecca booth, she never came back to me after taking all my personal details for a position, sent several emails/calls to her and her colleague, no response, her colleague stated he has also notified her, but I never ever heard back. I was very disappointed. I expected better standards.

Hello Nasreen, We are sorry that your experience with Michael Page did not live up to your expectations. You may have not received any responses as the colleague left the business earlier in the year.
Finding my next job through Michael Page was a great experience. Melissa McGuire at their Leeds office made the whole process easy and stress free. Melissa was very professional and supportive and she was in regular contact with updates at each stage. Just over a week after our first phone call, I have received my contract from my new employer. Thanks Melissa.

Appalling company and incredibly lazy.
Appalling company and incredibly lazy. As you can read in many, many other 1 star comments (which I urge you to read), their response is awful and totally uncaring. If you have a flawless CV that they believe can be easily placed, they will talk to you and take the easy fee, if it requires any kind of work or effort, forget about it, you'll never hear from them no matter how many times you try to contact them. The most unprofessional recruitment agency by some margin and this reputation is very well earned. This is my experience across several Michael Page offices.

Charlatans. Don't waste your time.
Hi All, I was dealing with Becci from Michael Page. The job was advertised as fuel card and company vehicle offered but during the interview I was informed by the employer this was not the case. I contacted Becci after the interview. She said it was false advertising and the company was genuine. Becci also said they were putting together an offer for me. Becci then ghosted me. Total charlatans!

I would like to say a big thank you to Rebecca Rhodes for her support and guidance, looking for my next adventure. After 15 years and being made redundant the job market has changed quite a bit, Rebecca has guided me through this process and been there to answer questions throughout. Thank you so much for your support.

Easy process and lots of support!
Really happy with my interaction with Michael Page, contacted me with a job that was exactly what I was looking for and helped arrange all the interviews and meetings. Things went smoothly (especially seeing as i was out the country for a few weeks in between!) and couldnt have asked for more support. Erica Modena and Becki Johnson who dealt with my application where very helpful and answered all my questions well and in plenty of time.

Really Quality Service
I'm not a fan of job seeking and find at time recruitment consultants can promise the world and deliver very little. Michael Page wereb the opposite and were always helpful and contactable. Laura was very helpful and approachable and I was please to see she was willing to get other member of the wider team involved to help me in my search. She listened to my spec and found a number of roles that meet my requirements.

A short term role....
After too many years at one company, closure forced me to find an alternative role. Within a week of contacting Michael Page, Marnie Soor had found me a short term 6 month interim role, slightly outside my comfort zone, but a nice challenge and she successfully obtained the pay rate I was looking for. That contract has now been extended a 3rd time and my tenure will now extend to over 2 years at least. In this uncertain world, knowing Michael Page are there if I was to need another role in the future is comforting.

Worked with Michael Ormiston who after an initial phone call had a couple of roles in mind that would be suitable. Quickly managed to arrange a first stage interview and was well guided through the process, with multiple calls (very easy to talk to), progressed to the second stage and again was able to speak directly to Mike re the task given and he also provided good feedback. Further to this, he has helped me secure a very good role that I’m really rather excited about. Since accepting I have continued to liaise with Mike, I’ve never had any issues in speaking with Mike or being ghosted etc. Smooth & transparent process, possibly even one of the best experiences with a recruitment firm.

Typical rec agency
Just another typical recruitment agency with poor customer service. You get pitched/proposed a great job with a client. You agree for your CV to be sent and that's it. No follow-up, call back or email after that point. Complete silence like a nuclear bunker. Not professional and very disappointed.

Great experience with Michael Page Finance Leeds
I commenced my job search with a few agencies in Leeds. A friend then referred me to the Qualified team at Michael Page in Leeds. I spoke to Laura, Sadie and Jodie who were all extremely helpful in supporting my job search. They took the time to meet me face to face and run through exactly what I was looking for. They all gave consultative advice on roles and businesses they were working with. Unlike other agencies they weren't pushy. I look forward to starting my new role and working with these guys in the future.

I honestly can say that I have never been so impressed with Micheal Page. Nick was in cut clear communication with me through out this entire process. I ended up getting a very competitive offer with a bonus. I cannot thank you enough Nick. He helped me throughout the entire process and was very honest/open. I was able to get an offer letter within two days of my interview with the company. Nick is very talented, personable and he takes his job very seriously. He was able to find me on LinkedIn and introduced me to a well-known establishment. He saw that I had the raw talent that Micheal Page was looking for and I cannot be anymore happier with this agency. Nick really did pull through. Kudos to you man.
They ghosted me. I spoke to a recruiter on the phone she told me she would be sending me a contract to sign and she would follow up every two weeks to see how I am doing. She also told me to send her the jobs I am looking at to see if she had any on her list as well that they work with. She never sent the contract. She didn't return any calls. It's been 3 weeks no follow up. Absolutely terrible to lead someone on who is looking for a job.
This company is ridiculous, i don't care im going to name-drop. I worked with Brianne Blauvelt and Molly Chaplan. I did an interview with 2 different companies with them. I was totally ghosted, i called and emailed them both and i was simply ignored. If someone does not get a position at least let them know, and tell them what they did wrong so they can improve. its so ridiculous DO NOT USE Micheal page. i feel as if i was blackballed from them as well, i reached out to another recruiter that posted a position she called me but i missed the call and i called her back no answer. I called her back the next day no answer, so i was like maybe it's my phone since i sometimes get no service, so i called from my other phone. she answered.
A recruiter from Michael Page messaged me on LinkedIn about a position she's working on that she wrote would be a good fit for me. She asked what my # is and what time can she call me to discuss. I'm not really looking for a new job but I was curious to hear what she has to say. I wrote back to her about an hour after she contacted me. I gave her my # and the times I am best available to speak. I have not heard back from this recruiter. I have no idea why she contacted me. At the very least she owes me the courtesy to contact me after I responded to her message. This is unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from Michael Page. Based on my experience and the other reviews there's definitely something creepy and shady with Michael Page. Stay away.
I am not surprised to see that so many others have had the same experience I've had with this scammy "recruiting firm." It's such bull**it! They, without a doubt, use people to gather as much industry information as possible, including potential clients, and then totally ghost you. It's disgusting. I fell for it TWICE! They string you along for quite a while then completely ignore you, even after telling you that you're perfect for the role, blah blah blah. I guarantee they will soon change their name because of all these bad reviews revealing the truth to their clients. They'll have no choice! You disgust me.
Recruiter reached out to me for an opportunity over linkedin. I confirmed the date with recruiter and provided my phone number. Recruiter did not call me back and performed any follow up. Very unprofessional and lack of respect.
They contact you (and many other people) with an "opportunity" through a generic cookie cutter email or LinkedIn message. They don't work closely with you to be placed. You are often ghosted and if the position gets filled you're never notified. It's much like dealing with used car salespeople. Just running numbers, no personal attention whatsoever.
After being sought out on LinkedIn by a recruiter, a great phone call with him, I was then passed to another of his colleagues who works more closely in my industry. I spoke with her for at least a half hour and then arranged to go into the office for an in-person interview with two separate people who recruit for jobs in my field. I've since gotten 4 separate offers to be a candidate for open positions. Despite being told I'd be contacted within a week for a few, called back in an hour for another (of which I spent the entire hour researching the company), and sending thoughtful follow-up emails with updated resumes, I have never once received a response about any of these positions. I truly don't understand why these recruiters are wasting their time and mine by even bothering to have me into the office or calling me to begin with. I understand that the roles may go to someone else but there has been absolutely no attempt to follow up even when promised. A quick standard email doesn't seem to much of an ask. I feel like I'm just a check for a quota system they must have to contact a certain amount of people. If you're looking for a recruitment agency, I recommend bypassing Page Personnel entirely. They'll reel you in and then just ignore you for months on end.
Confidentiality is NOT safe. Be careful when proceeding with MP. It may cost you your job like it did mine. Very unprofessional. Do not trust at ALL!
As a valuable professional in my field, this recruitment agency has left me disappointed. Reading the rest of the reviews, the disappearing act seems to be part of their MO. I was promised a few possibilities at the initial interview and did not hear back for two weeks. At which point, I received a phone call asking if I was still interested. After confirming, I was asked for my schedule in order to come interview with the actual hiring entity. The following week came and went with no follow up. I emailed the recruiter but never heard from her again. This was very unprofessionally handled.

We apologize if there has been a lack of communication regarding substantial updates on job opportunities previously discussed. Regardless of a candidate's field or experience level, the job hunt can be a taxing process because of the myriad variables involved. We ask for patience and trust as our Recruitment Consultants are diligently working behind the scenes. Kurt Jeskulski, Senior Managing Director, NYC.
